Finnish waste water specialists gathered together

77 Finnish specialists in the sector of waste water treatment in sparsely populated areas have gathered in the waves of the Baltic Sea, February 13-15, to discuss current issues.

The group consisted of representatives of authorities, education providers, organizations and companies. VillageWaters had also a great representation in the seminar. The participants visited also the Development Centre for Water, Water Expo exhibition and Mathildalabbet, Norrtälje, Sweden.

The seminar was the final seminarr of the HARA project. HARA is the coordination project for know-how and information exhcange concerning waste water treatment is sparsely populated areas. The project is coordinated by The Association for Water and Environment of Western Uusimaa and financed by Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council.
