Benoit Espinola

Benoit is currently working for the Association for the Water and Environment of Western Uusimaa (LUVY) as an IT specialist. Benoit participates in the VillageWaters project by maintaining an EXO2 water probe. He is also an Environmental Engineering student at Metropolia, University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki.  In VillageWaters he is developing his graduation thesis on the use of automated online probes to monitor the impact of sewage installation deployments on water quality .

 

His background is in art and design. He has a master’s in Art and Technology from the École supérieure d’art of Aix-en-Provence. He has also studied Interaction Design at the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design.

VillageWaters Project
VillageWaters suggest most effective wastewater treatment solutions in scattered dwellings households, which use their own, independently operated water purification systems.

Helping Homeowners
Environmentally oriented families and homeowners, who live in scattered dwellings areas, where connecting to larger wastewater plants is not option because rural distances.
