Kati Räsänen

Kati is the project coordinator for VillageWaters. She is working for Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke), which leads the project. Kati has coordinated many projects and has been part of many funding applications. Her own expertise is in environmental sustainability and ecotoxicity in life-cycle assessment (LCA).

 

In this project Kati will guide other partners in the activities and research work. She gets research advices from Luke's expert Yrjö Virtanen. She also performs general administration duties with project colleague Marja-Liisa Vieraankivi.

 

Kati wishes that to keep our Baltic Sea environment a clean and good place to live and she invites us to change things to make our environment even better. Kati also looks towards the achievement of a sustainable environment and way of living by people everywhere.

 

VillageWaters Project
VillageWaters suggest most effective wastewater treatment solutions in scattered dwellings households, which use their own, independently operated water purification systems.

Helping Homeowners
Environmentally oriented families and homeowners, who live in scattered dwellings areas, where connecting to larger wastewater plants is not option because rural distances.
